The MGM Grand Lion Habitat

Lions, tigers, and bears, oh my! The Mirage may offer a stunning display of white tigers, but if you want to see lions up-close, the MGM Grand is the place to visit. This $9-million addition to the resort showcases up to five adult lions daily. These lions are direct descendants of MGM Studios' famous signature marquee lion, Metro. Visitors view the lions from the safety of a transparent tunnel that runs through the lion habitat.

If you have a half hour or so with nothing to do, this is a great activity for people of all ages, and you can't beat the price! Kids especially will have a roaring good time looking at the lion cubs.
